IMSE Graduate Certificate Programs

The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering offers two graduate certificate programs to further your knowledge and career goals: Advanced Manufacturing and Systems Engineering. These certificate programs require 12 credits of coursework, or 4 courses. Learn more about our programs below.

The graduate certificate in Advanced Manufacturing provides students who have strong science, technology, mathematics and/or engineering backgrounds with additional graduate education in advanced manufacturing. Students are required to take four courses with emphasis on advanced manufacturing and design innovation concepts. Three courses must be selected from the list of courses in Advanced Manufacturing, and one must be selected from the Design Innovation list.

The Systems Engineering Certificate Program provides valuable resources for any engineer responsible for the oversight, creation, or operation of a complex system. The program provides focused learning opportunities for systems engineers, design engineers, lead engineers, software systems engineers, project managers, and others seeking to increase their professional knowledge and advance their careers. Students are required to take four courses from the lists below.
